Before the

EUDR deadline.

Konstata screens your plots, holds the legality records per producer and prepares the due diligence statement before 30 December 2026.

How it works

Three steps from a supplier's plot file to a prepared statement.

1. Screen plots

Every plot is read against forest on 31 December 2020, loss after it, alerts and greenness. It ends cleared, held or detected, with a written reason, and a person decides every held and detected plot.

2. Gather records

Legality documents per producer in the eight areas of Art. 2(40). One case holds the plots, suppliers and documents behind a statement, and you see what each supplier still owes.

3. Prepare the statement

The statement is prepared in the structure the Information System expects, covering every item of Art. 9(1). It waits while a plot is unscreened or a held plot lacks a decision.

Is your product in scope?

Connect your assistant

Konstata connects over MCP, the open standard these assistants use, so you ask about plots, suppliers and statements from the assistant you already use.

Ask it like this

“Which suppliers still owe legality documents, and which plots are held?”

“I started Konstata in 2025 because importers were being told what the regulation says, and not how to do the work.”

How we handle your data

Stored in the EU
Your data is stored in the EU, under a data processing agreement signed before your first upload.
Kept apart
Each organisation's data is kept apart at the database level, and we test that separation.
Backups and records
Daily backups. Every result is kept with the maps and engine version it was read against, for five years.

Questions buyers ask

Each answer cites its article and links the guide that goes further.

When does the EUDR apply to my company?

From 30 December 2026 for large and medium companies and from 30 June 2027 for micro and small ones, as set by Regulation (EU) 2025/2650. Size is judged as at 31 December 2024 and per legal entity.

Regulation (EU) 2025/2650

Am I an operator or a trader?

The first to place a product on the EU market or to export it is an operator, anyone later is a trader unless processing creates a new relevant product. The first four digits of the customs code decide, so roasting green coffee within heading 0901 leaves a roaster a trader. Making chocolate (1806) from cocoa beans (1801) does create a new relevant product, and its maker is a downstream operator, which submits no statement either.

Commission FAQ 3.1.1, Art. 2(15b), Art. 5

What geolocation data do I need?

Latitude and longitude to at least six decimal places for every plot. A point is lawful up to four hectares, above that a polygon is required, and for cattle every establishment is listed.

Art. 2(28), Art. 9(1)(d), Commission FAQ 1.8

Is tree-cover loss the same as deforestation?

No. Satellites report loss of tree cover, while the Regulation prohibits conversion of forest, and agricultural plantations including agroforestry are not forest. A flagged plot is an obligation to look, and the finding goes in the file.

Art. 2(6)

How long do I keep the records?

Five years from the date of placing on the market or export, and the records must be retrievable by consignment and by plot.

Art. 12

Does the screening replace my decision?

No. Each plot is cleared, held or detected with a written reason, a person decides every held and detected plot, and the decision is a separate record that never alters the screening. Konstata gives no legal conclusion.

Art. 10(4)

Start with 3 of your own plots

Read each screening line by line, with no card needed.
